As the Head of Communications for the organization, I planned a posting strategy to maximize interest from our attendees throughout the year, and either wrote or approved approved every release by my Communications team.

Any time you create a Facebook Page, Group, or Twitter account for a brand or organization, you need to carefully think about how your viewers will interact with you, what their needs and expectations are, and the style guide for your organization.

By arranging photography at the previous year's event, I had plenty of assets to make sure that every post had an accompanying, relevant photo.

Additionally, I designed banners for the group that showcased the organization's brand, included relevant information about the annual event, and matched with our style guide, which I produced at the beginning of the year.

Lakes of Fire is an annual art festival full of iconoclastic, vocal artists.

That means that the style of the event must be bold and artistically sound, as the audience really knows the difference.

We commissioned a photographer to provide us with photographs of the fireworks and flames from the last event, and have used those photos in our publications, including groups and events.
