Roles:
As the Team Lead, I coordinated assets with my designer, who created the style of this year's WhatWhereWhen with my consultation. I defined updates to the open source submission software that allow easier administration of the event, and add improvements to the display of the information, including new icons for specific types of events. Along with gathering assets from the various departments for the annual event publication, I did the final round of copy editing.

Roles:
In 2015, with a much-improved understanding of InDesign, I created a schedule using more Master Pages, extra style elements, and photos. I coordinated the team that created our submission software to allow attendees to submit events in a way that would create compatible XML and save hours of labor assembling. I also did all of the communication between teams to gather assets from every department for the booklet.

Roles:
In 2014, I began volunteering for Lakes of Fire in their communications (or Info_bot) department, and my first major task was to overhaul their schedule of events. As I'd just learned InDesign to take over Penguicon's Schedule and Souvenir book, I was able to use the same skills - the previous schedule was created in Word, by hand. Much of the nearly 70-page document had to be adjusted by hand, despite the XML import process.

Roles:
In 2014, I took over creating all print assets for Penguicon, including the annual Schedule of Events. This necessitated me learning InDesign, and in particular how to export a large spreadsheet of events first into XML, and then import into a given style. I used 2013's style with an updated cover.
